Nice run about 3 and change along San Diego Bay.
80 minutes tooling around San Diego. Tried to make it over the Cesar Chavez Bridge to Coronado, but a big no-go sign at the entrance ramp, 2.2 miles in, forced me to turn around and wander through the streets of downtown, from the Barrio past the baseball stadium through the Gaslamp and then up the marina to the Maritime Museum. Fun in any case!

The tabata bike sprints really work my legs. There’s nothing except leg leg leg work, and it feels good.
Took Wednesday as a rest day and tried to focus on walking and stretching them.
Thursday night will probably be a set of sprints, Friday am a 10k, and then Saturday a 13.1. That long run will put me on a solid foundation for some nice walks outside in the good weather and the week to come.
I don’t feel bad, because schedule has at least a little bit to do with the differences between now and five summers ago, when I bumped from zero to half-marathon in 3-4 days. It’s a week this time, but I started on Friday and had the boys around most of the days in-between so far (and ran outside on the one night they weren’t home). Cheers!
