Today was a welcome 5k in 29m45s, about 9:30 pace. Feels good to be a little more regular with it again.
Short run; felt rushed and anxious because my morning schedule was interrupted by a 1-hour errand. Oh well – better than doing nothing, right?
Today was the first time at the new 24hr Fitness in Ramsey, NJ.
Run was 6.0 in 58:25, or about 9:44 pace. I was pretty tired at the end. I think this treadmill shuts off at 60 min, so I’m going to have to run faster :-)
A 10k in 60 min is 9:41 pace, so I might be able to do that tomorrow or Tuesday.
Also, my 5k split was 31:05, so I did pretty good upping the pace from where I started at 5.9mph.
Later start than I wanted, but I came instead of skipping.
Did 3.1 in 26:54, which is about 8:41. The negative splits were tougher after 4 days off, but that’s okay too. It’s a very long race we’re all running.
Just missed it.
2.8 in 29:00 – at about thsi point I accidentally bumped out the “emergency stop” key. :-(

But I was using the treadmill’s distance and pace to increase from 5.7 mph at start and increase .1mph after each mile, with the last .2 at 6.3, a 9:31 pace.
Tomorrow I’ll start at 5.8. And so on. Let me do the math on when I’d run under 9…..
