Swam last night, 1/23, for about 55 min also. Conveniently, my shuffle was charged up and I even figured out a useful way of routing my earbud cords so they wouldn’t fall out every length. I’m still at about 20-21 strokes per length.
Trading tonight’s swim for tomorrow morning doesn’t make me very comfortable, but it’s what has to happen tonight. That’s just the way it goes.
My friend Tim gave me some good advice a week or two ago to help me get into the groove of swimming: he said that I have to convince myself that it’s swimming that I like the best (i.e., vs running). I’ve been working on that technique, and I think it’s helped me get to the pool more often.
